ABOUT ALEXIS STERN:
Alexis received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Texas at Austin and her Masters in Education from Harvard University. With significant experience coaching in her senior leadership roles and formal training from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), she supports her clients on their own leadership journeys by helping them to raise their self-awareness, identify their goals and motivations, and by empowering them to become change agents in their own lives.
Alexis earned her ACC certification from the International Coaching Federation, as well as her Certified Professional Coach, COR.E Dynamics Leadership Specialist Coach, and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner certifications from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching.

CONSULTING:
Alexis’s consulting areas of specialty include organizational culture, building effective teams, and learning and leadership development and strategy at corporations and educational institutions.
She uses her nearly 20 years of experience in instructional design and award-winning teaching to develop and facilitate effective, engaging learning experiences. Whether she’s designing and facilitating a series of data-informed leadership team workshops for a non-profit, redesigning a company’s new leader orientation to amplify engagement and align with core values, or consulting in leadership development for a top-tier law school, she builds meaningful, purpose-driven, and engaging experiences that promote growth and understanding and meet any organization’s needs. And as a disabled female and advocate for inclusion, Alexis also helps organizations review their inclusion policies to increase equity and empathy for all constituents.
Instructional Design:
She creates customized presentations, facilitator scripts, and participant materials for organizations to deliver engaging and effective learning internally. This may also include revisions to existing offerings. Alexis provides train-the-trainer sessions for those who will facilitate internally.
Workshop/Retreat Development & Facilitation:
Alexis develops fully customized workshops/retreats for leadership teams, which includes a needs analysis and collaboratively defining learning objectives, and then developing and facilitating workshops. Workshops are lauded for being high-touch and individualized experiences, and include engaging activities, applicable content, and customized printable participant guides, as well as post-workshop data collection to inform ongoing growth.
Leadership Assessments:
Alexis is a certified to administer and debrief the Korn Ferry 360 (which assesses leadership skills and competencies) as well as the Korn Ferry Emotional and Social Competencies Index (ESCI) 360 (which assesses a leader’s emotional intelligence). She is also certified in iPEC’s Energy Leadership Index self-awareness assessment. Each assessment includes administration, an extensive report, and a 90 minute insights and action planning session.
Leadership Development Strategy:
Alexis provides leadership development strategy for organizations nationwide. Alexis partners with organizations to evaluate the effectiveness of existing leadership development programs or develop new strategy. This robust process includes needs analyses to identify desired outcomes, and the development a comprehensive leadership learning strategy inclusive of course creation, 1:1 coaching, and 360 assessments. She also helps organizations develop internal coaching programs.
